Watercress Counselling (Lindsay Mayo) is the data controller for the personal information you share through this website.

What we collect and why

When you contact us, register, or book an appointment we collect your name, email address, phone number (if given), and the content of any messages you send. We use this to reply to you, to arrange and manage your appointments, and to send you confirmations, reminders and receipts. Session notes are kept separately and securely, in line with professional guidance.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure pages and are never stored on this website. We keep a record of the payment status and amount for each booking.

How long we keep it

Account and booking records are kept for as long as you are a client and for up to seven years afterwards for accounting and professional requirements, unless you ask us to remove them sooner where we are able to.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and withdraw consent at any time by contacting Lindsay through the contact page. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
